Media trial of the MQM should end with the clarifying statement of the Met Police: Co-ordination Committee

Commenting on the clarification given by the Metropolitan Police about Tariq Mir, the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM has said that the media trial of the MQM should end now.
In a statement, the Co-ordination Committee said that the opponents of the MQM were spitting venom against the MQM on the circulation of a fake statement of senior MQM member Tariq Mir on the social media. But today the BBC itself has carried a clarification by the Met Police that the alleged statement of Tariq Mir broadcast and published in Pakistani media is not a police document.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the media and opponents of the MQM should show some responsibility and focus on real and grave issues facing the country instead of wasting energies on the MQM.
