A joint-session of the Coordination Committee of Pakistan and London was chaired by the Senior Deputy Convener Nadeem Nusrat, decided not to attend the “Iftar Party” held by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee expressed its grievances over holding an “Iftar Party,” while Karachiites were being killed due to intolerable heat with unavailability of electricity and water. It said that rather initiating rescue and relief work for the victims, the government spending money on an unnecessary “Iftar Party.’
Meanwhile, MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain endorsed the decision of Coordination Committee.
