MQM demands PM to resolve issues of calling strikes

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement said that the Prime Minister should resolve the issue of strikes rather criticizing the rights of protest of the people.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the justification of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the remarks of “Makkhi” to the victims of custodial killings in Karachi, said that the innocent Muhajirs were arrested by the Law Enforcement Agencies and being killed in their custody.
The Committee said that the Karachiites had no intention to call strike for nothing but if they had been victimized, would definitely react. It demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister to immediately constitute a monitoring committee for ongoing Karachi-operation.
