Posted on: 6/14/2015
The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan belongs to the 98 percent of the unprivileged people while the 2 percent of the elite population seized the power of the country and control the rest.
Talking to a gathering on the occasion to celebrate the 37th Day of Inception of APMSO at Sangam Hall in Edgware area, MQM Chief said that MQM would free Pakistan and 98 percent of the population from the tyrannical discrimination of the 2 percent elite. He enthusiastically felicitated the participants on 37th Day of Inception of APMSO.
Mr. Hussain said that MQM Youth Wing in Britain was continuously working to spread the party philosophy and if needed would support the Pakistani workers and supporters. He appreciated the role of British Pakistani youth and said that nobody could eliminate MQM as it had such a youth power.
He said that if the true democracy would be practiced in Pakistan then the people would definitely pay due respect to the politician and the influence of the army would be minimize. He said that MQM had been restricted to carry out its humanitarian works under the KKF by posing baseless accusation against it.
Mr. Hussain said that the Rangers had closed down MQM’s all units and sectors throughout the city and giving an impression to eliminate MQM from the city by creating terror among the people. He said that the security agencies kept arbitrarily arresting MQM’s innocent workers and supporters.
He said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif remarked “Makkhi” about the murders of innocent civilians in extra-judicial killing. He said that the PM’s remarks evoked anxiety and despair among the bereaved families of the victims.
Mr. Hussain said that MQM kept representing 98 percent of the people, including Pakhtun, Punjabi, Sindhi, Baloch, Muhajir, Kashimiri, Saraiki, Hazarawal and gilgit-Baltistani and struggling for the rights of the people. He said that MQM would bring peaceful revolution against the tyrannical elite to free the 98 percent of the unprivileged people.
MQM Chief paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the party and prayed Almighty Allah to confer them the high eternal ranks and give the courage to their aggrieving families to bear the loss. He also appreciated the workers and office-bearers of the MQM Youth Wing in Britain for organizing such a successful programme.
