Altaf Hussain indebted by people for supporting strike call

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain expressed his gratitude to the people of Sindh, especially Karachiites to respond on MQM’s call for a strike over anti-urban budget.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that the volunteer response of the traders, industrialists, shopkeepers and transporters reflected that the entire Sindh had rejected the current budget. He said that the people enthusiastically participated in the peaceful strike.
Mr. Hussain said that the budget would create dichotomy between urban and rural population of Sindh and could also deter the brotherhood among the permanent residents of the province. He said that MQM would not allow to creating a diversion by posting such a controversial budget.
