Dr Farooq Sattar urges government to take steps for resolving issues of Special Persons

Dr Farooq Sattar urges government to take steps for resolving issues of Special Persons
 Posted on: 6/10/2015
Member of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar has called for redressing the injustices being done to the special people in Pakistan. He said that special people in Punjab had to choose the path of agitation and sit-in for their rights. The situation is Sindh province was not different.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting of the Persons With Disabilities of the MQM. In-charge of the PWD wing Adnan Sarwar and members of his committee were present on the occasion.
Dr Sattar said that the government only speaks about the problems of special people but does nothing practical to resolve their problems. Quota in government jobs for special people has been increased to 3 percent, but it is never implemented.
Dr Sattar condemned the government for its duplicitous position on the rights of special persons. He urged the government to take urgent steps for resolving genuine issues being faced by special persons.
