MQM will contest local government elections in Punjab: Senator Mian Atique

MQM Senator Mian Atique has inaugurated two free sewing centres in Police Lines area of District Jhang under Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation. The centres have been established on the directives of MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain. President of MQM Upper Punjab Raja Aijaz and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Senator Mian Atique said that the MQM is the party of people belonging to poor and middle classes, and its leader Altaf Hussain is constantly working for empower them.
The Senator said that innocent MQM workers were being killed extrajudicially to stop the MQM for serving common people.
Mian Atique said that the MQM would contest coming local government elections in Punjab, and it will field candidates in every district and at every union council level. He asked local office-bearers to spread the MQM’s message throughout Punjab.
