Altaf Hussain applauses people on observing day of mourning

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement thoroughly appreciated people, especially Karachiites for positively participating on MQM’s call for a day of mourning against the extra-judicial killing of Wasim Dehlvi in police custody.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that the entire province supported MQM’s call and closed down their daily businesses. He applauded people for their volunteer responses against the call and said such a peaceful protest showed that MQM’s supporters were democratically mature.
Mr. Hussain said that the successful day of mourning intimated the authorities and the government to take immediate notice against the brutality and ensured that such thing should not be happened in future. He said that MQM is a reality and could not be crushed by such malice tactics.
He also appreciated party supporters and workers throughout the country, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit- Baltistan and Azad Kashmir for observing the day of mourning on MQM’s call.
