MQM condemns POL price hike

The Coordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement strongly condemned the increase in POL prices, including petrol prices and termed it an acute injustice and brutality with unprivileged people.
In a statement, the Coordination Committee said that the increase might badly cause the prices of essential food items and transport fares. It said that rather providing relief to the suppressed people, the government compelled them to live their lives in miseries.
The Committee said that the increase in POL was absolutely irrational and the government’s claim was baseless. It demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to reiterate the decision and provide relief to the people.
