Terming the horrible twin terrorists’ attacks on Quetta’s Bolan Medical Complex and Women University `acts of barbarism and cowardice’, Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain, said that both the tragic incidents were open terrorism.
In a hard-hitting condemnation statement, the MQM chief said that the terrorists who first made a number of people, including deputy Commissioner, Quetta, nurses, police officials and citizens hostage and then sprayed them with firing, were the enemies of humanity.
He said that the terrorist elements who in order to achieve their nefarious designs committed bloodshed of doctors, nurses and unarmed innocent citizens performing humanitarian services, deserved no leniency and be given exemplary punishment.
He also strongly condemned the blast that occurred near the Quetta’s women university, located on Bureri Road, in which at least eleven female students were killed and several others injured.
Expressing his deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in both the tragic incidents, the MQM chief prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable losses. Ends
