MQM asks opposition parties to vote for MQM candidates for NA Speaker & Dy. Speaker

MQM Coordination Committee has appealed to all the political and religious parties of opposition to cast their votes in favour of MQM candidates for the slot of Speaker and Deputy Speaker in the National Assembly for the supreme national interest and for promoting brotherhood so as to create a new political history in the country. Pakistan. MQM Coordination Committee in a statement issued on Saturday has said that MQM has decided to sit on the opposition benches both in National and Sindh Assemblies. MQM would play a vital role for the strengthening of democratic institutions, promoting democracy as well as for the welfare and well-being of the people of the country.
The Committee said that political and religious parties in National Assembly are consulting MQM for the nomination of the opposition leader. It said that MQM is a democratic party which firmly believes in holding negotiations on all issues. It appealed to both the political and religious parties to vote for the candidates of MQM in the National Assembly, making them successful for the promotion of brotherhood and in the larger interest of the country.
