MQM concerned on life threats to Dr Farooq Sattar

MQM Co-ordination Committee has expressed concerns about reports that elements belonging to certain banned outfits and criminals of Lyari gang war were planning to assassinate Dr Farooq Sattar.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the concerned officials had been informed about these reports that have been obtained from well-placed sources.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, DG Rangers Sindh, IG Sindh and other concerned officials been informed in writing about the latest threats to the life of Dr Sattar.
Dr Sattar has said in his letter that his personal security and the security arrangement at his house is inadequate.
The Co-ordination Committee has demanded to beef up Dr Sattar’s security immediately.
