Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s baseless allegation against Altaf Hussain is condemnable: MQM

Did Imran Khan not say that the Generals would wet their pants if twenty thousand people came on streets?
MQM Co-ordination Committee has strongly condemned PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi for hurling baseless allegations against MQM leader Altaf Hussain. In a statement, the committee said that Mr Hussain has never called generals of Pakistani army cowards or weaklings.
The Co-ordination Committee said Shah Mahmood Qureshi is a political leader and it did not become him to take recourse to deceitfulness. “Where was Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s love for Pakistani Army slumbering when the head of his own party was accusing generals of the Pakistan Army as cowards and weaklings?”
“Why was Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s honour not bruised when Imran Khan had said that the generals would wet their pants if twenty thousand people came on streets?”
“What was Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s honour not get provoked when JI leader Munawwar Hassan and the current Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif were insulting the Pakistan Army and expressing inflammatory views?”
The Co-ordination Committee said why no condemnatory resolution was brought in any of the assemblies if the love that Shah Mahmood Qureshi professes for the Army is true?
The Co-ordination Committee said that Shah Mahmood Qureshi may cause resolutions to be brought against Altaf Hussain but he will not be successful in driving a wedge between the Army and the MQM.
