Over three thousand voters had to face difficulties because of closure of the two polling stations
The Election Commission closed Polling Stations No 172 and 173 all of a sudden on the occasion of election for NA – 246. Eight polling booths were set up in these polling stations while over three thousand voters had to cast their votes here. All of a sudden the polling stations were shifted to Government Boys Secondary School FC Area. As a result of this shifting the number of polling stations in this school increased to four. People had to face considerable difficulty because of this sudden change of their polling station and they lodged strong protest on this. Long queues of voters were formed because of four polling stations in one premises and the polling process became very slow.
