Members of the Co-ordination Committee Shakeel Umer and Saleem Tajik suspended

Members of the Co-ordination Committee Saleem Tajik and Shakeel Umer and former member of the dissolved Karachi Tanzeemi Committee Farooq Saleem have been suspended for indefinite period of time. The committee has directed office bearers and workers not to maintain any contact with the suspended members. The committee warned that disciplinary action would be taken against workers and office-bearers if they are found to breach the instructions.
The Co-ordination Committee said that Mr Altaf Hussain, the Founder and Leader of the MQM, is working tirelessly to revive the ideological basis of the party. He is purging undesirable elements from the party and taking important decisions after careful deliberations.
