The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has dissolved the Co-ordination Committee of MQM in London and Pakistan with immediate effect. The Nine Zero administration committee has also been dissolved. Names for the new Co-ordination Committee shall be finalized on 25th May in a General Workers meeting of the MQM to be held in Jinnah Ground Azizabad. This announcement was made by Mr Hussain in a meeting at Nine Zero while talking to the members of the dissolved co-ordination committee and office-bearers of various departments of the MQM.
A seven-member provisional Co-ordination Committee has been formed for running the organizational affairs of the party. They are Dr Farooq Sattar, Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddqui, Dr Nusrat, Dr Sagir Ahmed, Kunwar Naveed, Amir Khan and Saif Yar Khan. This provisional committee will function till the coming Saturday. Members of the dissolved committee will assist the provisional committee.
Mr Hussain has directed the provisional committee to finalize the names of the new Nine Zero administration committee within 24 hours.
