Massive turnout in polls in Karachi

Massive turnout in polls in Karachi
 Posted on: 5/12/2013
Citizens of Karachi of all feathers flocked together to caste their votes in all polling stations. People of all ages, men and women alike queued to caste their votes where Muttahida Quami Movement emerged triumphant on their support and their confidence in the MQM in each successive election of 1988, 1990, 1993, 1997, 2002, 2008 and now 2013. This unprecedented turnout of the people of Karachi in support of the MQM, liberal and secular political party, ever since the creation of Pakistan was a clear message to the Tehrik-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan (TTP) that despite their indiscriminate bombings at the Election Offices of the MQM, target killings of its office bearers, workers and supporters, they are steadfast, unwavered and standing shoulder to shoulder with their party to defeat the scourge of Talibanisation.
