Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Labour Division In-charge and members of Central Committee on Friday appealed to the country’s working class, labour unions and Collective Bargaining Agents (CBAs) of public and semi-autonomous organizations to cast their votes in favour of Altaf Hussain’s candidates so that the party could play more effective role for the resolution of their problems.
In a statement issued here on Friday, the MQM Labour Division’s In-charge, Kazim Raza, said that the Haq Parast candidates had not only raised voice for the rights and resolution of problems of the working class in the Senate and National and provincial assemblies, but the party had also sent people belonging to working class to the elected houses of parliament.
In this regard, he pointed out that that MQM on the directives of chief Altaf Hussain had awarded party tickets to the people in the 2013 general elections also, and vowed that the party’s elected representatives would, Insha Allah, continue to protect the rights of labourers in future, as well.
The MQM Labour Division chief and members of Central Committee appealed to the working class of the country to vote for Haq Parast candidates on May 11 by stamping on `kite’, the election symbol of MQM, for their prosperous future as well as to reject the terrorism and extremism.
