MQM leader Altaf Hussain has said that 23rd April will be a day of victory for the MQM. He said this while talking to a large gathering in Jinnah Ground on Wednesday night.
Mr Hussain said there is a unique relation between him and people who support the MQM. This relation is different from any other worldly relations. “The love expressed by mothers, sisters, young and the elderly is understandable but how do we explain the love being shown by small children?”
Mr Hussain prayed Almighty Allah to maintain this love in the same manner. He asked people not to let these feelings subside. “We should inform our children about the sacrifices given by our martyrs because they are part of our history and not mere stories.”
Addressing MQM workers and sympathizers, Mr Hussain said, “Victory lies in remaining united. If we remain united by the Grace of Allah, then no power on earth will be able to finish us.”
Mr Hussain asked people to obtain their voting cards and keep it safe. He also asked them to get information about their polling station in order to avoid confusion on the polling day.
Mr Hussain paid rich tributes to people for their support.
