Frequency of attacks on MQM offices are increasing but there seems to be no one to stop the killers
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has deplored the killing of MQM worker Adil Rizwan in an incident of firing at the election of office of the party in Paposh Area. Adil Rizwan was the worker of Unit 181 of Nazimabad Gulbahar Sector of the MQM. He said that the attacks on the MQM’s offices were increasing with the approach of the date of general elections, but it seemed that there was no one to stop the barbaric killers.
Mr Hussain said that even a day had not passed after the MQM’s office in Burns Road area was made a target of bomb attack and within a short time, it was made a victim of terrorism once again resulting in the tragic death of one worker.
Mr Hussain said that religious extremists were targeting the MQM, the ANP and the PPP with the active connivance of hardened criminals, and their agenda was to bring the country under the control of conservative forces. He made it clear that the MQM would not give up its democratic rights under any condition and continue its struggle.
Mr Hussain appealed to the general public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police and administration. He demanded of the government to bring the killers of Adil Rizwan to book.
Mr Hussain sympathized with the grieving family members of the deceased worker and said that he did not have words to express his grief. He prayed Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
