The twentieth death anniversary of the former MQM chairman Azim Ahmed Tariq was observed with reverence in Lal Qila Ground Azizabad. Recitation of the Holy Quran and fateha was offered for conveying blessings to the soul of the late chairman and other martyrs of the MQM.

Members of the Co-ordination Committee of MQM Kunwar Khalid Yunus, Kunwar Naveed Jamil, Naik Muhammad, Kaiful Wara, and Saleem Tajik attended the anniversary and paid their respects to the martyrs. A large number of office-bearers of different wings and sectors of the MQM also attended the gathering for the anniversary.

Prayers were offered for the divine forgiveness of Azim Ahmed Tariq and all other martyrs of the MQM. Special prayers were offered for the long life and good health of MQM Founder and Leader Mr Altaf Hussain.
