The Co-ordination Committee terms the brutal killing a part of the ongoing conspiracy to keep the MQM out of elections
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the killing of a worker of MQM Surjani Sector Aftab Ahmed. He expressed sympathies to the bereaved family members of the martyred worker and said that their grief was equally shared by all other workers of the party. He prayed Almighty Allah to rest the soul of Aftab Ahmed in eternal peace.
The Co-ordination Committee of the MQM has termed the killing of Aftab Ahmed a part of the ongoing conspiracy to disrupt the election atmosphere by undermining peace and order. It said that several MQM workers and sympathizers had fallen victim of terrorism, and conspiracies were being hatched to keep the MQM out of the electoral process.
The Co-ordination Committee condoled with the grieving family members and prayed for the departed soul. It demanded of the caretaker government to take serious notice of the killing of Aftab Ahmed by the firing of armed terrorists. It called for arresting the elements involved in carrying out terrorism against the MQM and for ensuring peaceful elections throughout the country.
