Protestors were chanting slogans against Talibanisation of Pakistan and in favour of democratic, liberal and progressive Pakistan. Whilst talking to media, MQM Coordination Committee strongly condemned the attacks on MQM, ANP and PPP and termed these attacks a conspiracy to keep enlightened and liberal forces out of the election process. The Coordination Committee of MQM further stated that inaction of caretaker government, election commission and law enforcement agencies against Taliban is deplorable and the silence of International Community on terrorism in Pakistan is highly disappointing. Office bearers of ANP also condemned the violent attacks carried out by Taliban across the country and vowed that liberal forces will not surrender and continue their struggle against terrorism and extremism. Meanwhile, a petition was also presented to the officials at Pakistani High Commission that demanded stern action against terrorist outfits and condemned the on-going terrorist attacks on liberal parties of Pakistan.
