 Posted on: 4/27/2013
Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee’s deputy Convener, Dr Farooq Sattar said here on Saturday that presence of a large number of Urdu and Sindhi-speaking people in the grand public meeting was a clear indication that the May 11 sun would rise, heralding victory for 180 million oppressed and suppressed people of the country, instead of two pc exploitative and privileged class.
The grand public meeting held under the aegis of MQM Nawabshah Zone at Municipal School ground was addressed, among others, by Haq Parast candidates for National and Sindh Assembly seats from Nawabshah and MQM Nawabshah Zonal In-charge.
Dr Farooq Sattar said that the mammoth public meeting was a testimony to the fact that Haq Parast candidates belonging to poor and middle classes would emerge victorious in the forthcoming elections from Nawabshah, Dadu, Larkana, Thatta, Khairpur, Sanghar and other parts of Sindh.
Describing MQM as the Pakistan’s only party that represented people belonging to all languages of the country, the MQM leader said that the public meeting was of all the tehsils of Nawabshah.
He said the MQM chief Altaf Hussain has been talking about a revolution as those who in the last 65 years had been casting votes would now be getting votes and hence such a move was a testimony to a change in Pakistan and Sindh.
Dr Sattar said that Sindh despite contributing maximum tax to the national exchequer, is the major loan getter.
Felicitating the MQM Nawabshah Zone’s office-bearers for organizing an exemplary public meeting, Dr Sattar appealed to the participants of the meeting to ensure MQM candidates victory in the ensuing general elections by casting their votes in favour of kite only.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Haq Parast candidates for PS-24, Asim Kabeer, NA-213Inayat Ali Rind, NA-214 candidate Sikandar Kerio, advocate, PS-28 candidate Abdul Qadi Khilji, PS-27 candidate Mohammad Saeed Khanzada, PS-26 candidate Khan Mohammad Zardari, PS-25 candidate Mureed Brohi and MQM Nawabshah Zone’s In-charge  Shiraz Masood.
