PAT slams killings of MQM workers in acts of terrorism

A delegation of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), led by Dr Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi on Saturday visited MQM Headquarters `Nine Zero’ to express sympathy on its and on behalf of its party chief Dr Tahir-ul-Quadri over the killings of Muttahida’s workers in People’s Chowrangi and Nusrat Bhutto Colony’s bomb blasts and in other acts of terrorism.
The PAT delegation during its meeting with the MQM Coordination Committee members Wasim Aftab and Kunwar Khalid Younus, also voiced it concern over the fast deteriorating political and law and order situation of the country.
The issues concerning forthcoming general elections under the poor law and order situation and other matters of mutual interest were also discussed on the occasion.
Apprising the PAT delegation about the conspiracy hatched against the MQM, the MQM Coordination Committee members said that under a calculated move MQM and other parties were being kept out of the election process with the help of terrorists.
Later, the PAT delegation offered fateha for the MQM workers and sympathizers who lost their lives in the bomb blasts and in other targeted attacks and prayed for the early recovery of all those injured in acts of terrorism.
