MQM Co-ordination Committee expresses concerns on the silence of political and religious parties on incidents of terrorism in Karachi

All patriotic Pakistanis should raise their voice against terrorism
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has expressed its grave concerns on the complete silence of all political and religious parties on the incidents of terrorism in Karachi and Quetta resulting in the deaths of several innocent people. The committee termed it a national tragedy that the political and religious parties were maintaining a strange silence on the increasing incidents of terrorism out of expediency.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the three provinces of the country were in the grip of terrorism and the killings of four MQM workers in a bomb blast is a stark manifestation of terrorism in its gruesome form. It was unfortunate that not a single national leader bothered to utter even a few words of sympathy let alone condemning the terrorism.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM was constantly being made a target of terrorism which was evident from the fact that several MQM workers, including an election candidate, had been killed in various incidents of terrorism.
The Co-ordination Committee appealed to the people to raise their voice against terrorism and give a strong message to the terrorists by their unity that a handful of terrorists could not hold them to hostage.
