Condemning the firing incident in which Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Mehmoodabad Sector (UC-5) Joint In-charge, Mohammad Faisal, was seriously injured, MQM Coordination Committee said that the law-enforcement agencies have utterly failed in protecting lives of Muttahida’s office-bearers, workers, sympathizers and the citizens.
In a strongly-worded condemnation statement issued on Thursday, the MQM Coordination Committee said that it was strange that the citizens were being killed and deprived of the properties but the terrorists were still free from the clutches of law.
The Coordination Committee demanded of Sindh governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad, caretaker Sindh chief minister retired Justice Zahid Kurban Alavi to immediately order for the arrest the culprits involved in the firing incident in which Mohammad Faisal was injured and give them exemplary punishment.
The Committee also prayed to Almighty Allah for the speedy recovery of Mohammad Faisal.
