Victory in NA-246 will be victory for Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

MQM Founder and Leader Altaf Hussain has said we should contest elections in a friendly manner by keeping our emotions and fieriness under control.
He said, “We belong to one nation and hence elections must not be allowed to become a war between two countries.”
“I welcome PTI leader Imran Khan in Jinnah Ground. Our workers will be there to receive him and there will be no sloganeering or hooliganism of any kind. Jinnah Ground is yours and you may hold your public meeting here.”
Mr Hussain said the spirit of brotherliness and peace should be maintained during by-election campaign.
“We are all Pakistanis. This is not a question of your victory or our victory. It will be a victory for Pakistan. It will be our victory.”
Mr Hussain said political alliances were part and parcel of the democratic process. Britain is a current example where the government has been formed by Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.
He said that an alliance of PTI and JI would help people of Pakistan know the ideological similarities between the two parties.
