The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the elements wanted to eliminate MQM should understand that their dream would never come true.
Talking to the members of Coordination Committee, office-bearers, workers and supporters in an emergency meeting at Nine-Zero that was called at 3:00 AM, MQM Chief said that PTI Chief Imran Khan insulted and used abusive language for the Army Generals. He said that the Generals who had been supporting PTI directly or indirectly, should think about Imran’s language.
Mr. Hussain said that after the martyrdom of MQM worker Waqas Ali Shah on 11th March 2015, the Rangers arrested more than 150 people, including MQM leader Amir Khan from Nine-Zero and the neighbourhood. He said that the Rangers’ official said, “Mr. Khan is being taken into the custody to ask some question and he is our guest.” While very next day he was brought to the court like a war-criminal.
Talking about Imran Khan and Dr Arif Alvi’s audio tape, in which PTI Chief was appreciating the attack on Pakistan Television Islamabad (PTV) carried out by PTI, he asked why did PTI Chief abuse the Prime Minister? He said that when the Rangers raided on Nine-Zero, Imran, Shireen Mazari and other PTI workers celebrated the incident but what happened when police raided on PTI Senator Shibli Faraz and Azam Sawati.
He satirically asked Mr. Khan to condemn both the PTI leaders rather condemning police raids on their houses. He also mentioned the incident when Imran attacked on a police station and took away his detained workers from police custody with weapons. He also demanded the media outlets to air Imran’s video to make the nation realize.
MQM Chief said that they were being exterminated and the workers were being picked and extra-judicially killed and this was the point of serious concern. He said he wants to see the end of status quo from the society and the elements wished to carry it, wanted to perish MQM.
Mr. Hussain said that the nation was in the war like situation and everyone had to response with maturity. He also discussed about his conversation with former President Asif Ali Zardari and referred that Pakistan should not plunge in others war because Pakistan had already paid a lot. He said that the army had engaged with Zarb-e-Azb to crush the terrorists and for that they had been sacrificing their lives for the country and its people, and he already saluted the army personnel embraced martyrdom during the war against terror and applauded them for their gallantly acts to eliminate the terrorism and extremism from the country.
