Rehman Malik calls Altaf Hussain, condemns raid

PPP leader and Senator Rehman Malik telephoned MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain and strongly condemned the illegal raid on Nine-Zero, including Mr. Hussain’s sister’s house.
Mr. Malik slammed the maltreatment, use of abusive language with the women and vandalizing the operational offices of MQM at Nine-Zero. He said that the sanctity of the houses of political leaders and their offices should be maintained. He said that MQM was an elected party which actively participated to promote peace and democracy in the country.
PPP Senator also condemned the brutal killing of MQM worker Waqas Ali Shah and expressed his heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family. Meanwhile, MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain briefed him about the raid on party headquarters, including his sister’s house. He also thanked to the Senator for expressing solidarity against the illegal raid and arrest of number of MQM workers, including the ruthless killing of Waqas Ali Shah.
