PIA delegation calls on Altaf Hussain

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to get the consensus of the PIA employees prior to the privatization of the nation institution.
Talking to a delegation of PIA employees at London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that during the process, employees’ stakes should be respected because most of the employees were against the privatization. He said that PIA needed an active and hardworking Chief Executive to proceed the institution towards progress.
Mr. Hussain said that the employees should not be hired on the basis of friendship, nepotism and political affiliations but for the sake of the country’s goodwill. He said that he knew about the anxiety among the employees regarding the privatization of PIA.
He demanded the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to avoid any decision that hurt employees’s interests. He also demanded to provide equal opportunity to all the employees, especially during the international flights and ensured that everyone should get chance to serve the nation
