Killing of ANP leader Mukarram Shah is a blatant act of terrorism: Altaf Hussain

Murderous attacks on political leaders and election candidates are a cause of great concern for the public
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the killing of local ANP leader Mukarram Shah in Banjot village of Mangalwar area of Sawat. He termed it a blatant act of t terrorism. He said that the murderous attack on political leaders and their brutal killings were a cause of great concern for the people of the country. He warned that the terrorist elements were trying to weaken national security by imposing a wave of fear and terror in the country.
Mr Hussain demanded President Asif Zardari, caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso and caretaker Interior Minister to take serious notice of attacks on leaders and election candidate of political parties. He said that the terrorists should be brought to book and given exemplary punishment.
Mr Hussain extended sympathies to the grieving family members of Mukarram Shah and ANP leaders and prayed Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
