MQM will continue to raise voice for rights of poor: Aamir Khan
Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s central leader Aamir Khan said here on Tuesday that Altaf Hussain’s elected representatives always raised voice in the parliamentary houses for getting genuine rights of poor and middle-class people of the country and would continue to do so in future, as well.
This, he said, while talking to a delegation of Kachchi community’s youths living in the adjoining areas of Malir and office-bearers of Kachchi Sangat Forum which called on him at MQM’s central office located at Azizabad’s Khursheed Begum Secretariat to extend their support to the Haq Parast candidates in the forthcoming general elections. Those present on occasion included MQM’s central executive council’s member Nabil Gabol, Kachchi Sangat Forum’s office-bearers Irfan Jamote Kachchi, Mohammad Aslam Kachchi, Asif Wagir and KMOC’s In-charge Farukkh Azam.
Highlighting the MQM chief’s 35-year long untiring efforts for getting the rights of oppressed and suppressed people of the country restored, Mr Khan said that Mr Hussain had long been struggling against the country’s corrupt and obsolete system.
He said that now the time has come that 98 per cent oppressed and suppressed people of the country must assemble on a single platform so that they could get rid of two per cent privileged class by exercising their right of vote.
MQM central executive council’s Member Nabil Gabol said that Altaf Hussain is the only leader in the country who could help 98 per cent poor and middle-class suppressed people in getting their usurped rights restored.
Speaking on the occasion, members of the Kachchi community’s delegation said that MQM legislators under the leadership of Mr Hussain had proved that it was the only representative political party of the country’s poor and middle-class people.
Elaborating, they said that the Kachchi community in view the performance of MQM representatives has not only decided to extend its full support to the MQM candidates in the May 11 general elections but would also actively participate in the election campaign for getting MQM’s candidates elected in the polls.
