Political and religious parties should arrive at a code of conduct and solve issues by mutual understanding
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain and former Interior Minister Rehman Malik discussed the overall situation in the country on the telephone. Both the leaders agreed that all political and religious parties should arrive at a code of conduct before the holding of general elections. All political parties should accept and show respect to each other. They should solve all issues by mutual understanding instead of resorting to confrontation. Problems being faced by overseas Pakistanis, who send remittances of billions of rupees to the country, were also discussed during the conversation. Both Mr Hussain and Mr Malik inquired after the well-being of each other and expressed good wishes.
