Altaf Hussain congratulates Najam Sethi on becoming chief minister of the Punjab

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain telephoned prominent journalist and political analyst Najam Sethi and congratulated him on becoming the caretaker chief minister of the Punjab. Talking to Mr Sethi, he said that it was the need of the hour to hold impartial and transparent elections in the country, including the province of the Punjab. He said that transparent elections were the only way to bring honest people, who have a sense of duty towards the country and the nation, in the parliament. Mr Sethi thanked Mr Hussain and said it would be his foremost priority to hold impartial elections in the province. He said that he would use all his abilities for free and fair elections.
