ALTAF HUSSAIN OFFERS CONDOLENCES ON THE SAD DEMISE OF PIR PAGARA CO-ORDINATION COMMITTEE EXPRESSES GRIEF AND SORROW

LONDON: 10TH JANUARY 2012: 
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the spiritual leader of the Hurs and the president of Pakistan Muslim League Functional Pir Sahib Pagara. In a condolence message Mr Hussain said that Pir Sahib was a veteran politician who had played an important role in the politics of the country. He said that a chapter of the political history of the country has come to an end with the death of Pir Sahib. He further said that the vacuum created by the passing of the seasoned politician will not be filled. He said that the death of Pir Sahib Pagara was a great tragedy for Pakistan. People of Pakistan besides his followers and adherents were grieved at his death.Mr Hussain extended heartfelt condolences to the sons, other family members, the spiritual successors, followers, and leaders and workers of PML (F) and said that every worker of the MQM shared their grief. He said that he was personally saddened over the death of Pir Sahib.Mr Hussain prayed for the divine forgiveness of Pir Sahib Pagara and for patience and fortitude for his mourners. He also appealed to the people of Pakistan to offer special prayers for Pir Sahib.Meanwhile, the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM has also extended heartfelt condolences on the passing away of Pir Pagara.
