Killing of Ziaullah is yet another proof of the failure of the government and its institutions
Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Dr Farooq Sattar has condemned the killing of District Election Commissioner Muhammad Ziaullah Qasmi by terrorists in Quetta. He termed the killing as yet another proof of the failure of the government and its institutions. He expressed deep concerns on the continuing lawlessness in Balochistan even after the imposition of the Governor’s rule where government officials were also being gunned down along with innocent people. He demanded of the government to bring the killers of District Election Commissioner Ziaullah Qasmi to justice. He called for solid steps to rid Balochistan of lawlessness. He extended sympathies to the grieving family members of the deceased.
