Mirpurkhas will always rank prominently in the long struggle of the MQM
The main gathering of the 29th Foundation Day of the MQM will be held in Mirpurkhas on 18th March 2013. This was announced by Mr Altaf Hussain while talking to the office-bearers of zone, sectors, units and women wing of the Mirpurkhas zone of the MQM. He said that the public meeting in Mirpurkhas would be successful, and the people of Mirpurkhas would give their clear verdict in favour of the MQM candidates in the coming general elections.
Reminiscing about Mirpurkhas Mr Hussain said that the images of streets and localities of Mirpurkhas come before his eyes whenever its name was mentioned. He said that the city of Mirpurkhas would rank prominently whenever the history of the MQM spanning over 35 long years would be compiled.
Mr Hussain said that Mirpurkhas had the unique distinction that women participated in the MQM’s public meeting in large numbers as compared to any other place. He said that the people of Mirpurkhas had never disappointed him and hoped that they would continue to support him in the future also.
Mr Hussain said the MQM wanted complete sectarian harmony among followers all sects and added that it was the only party that could guarantee the rights of non-Muslim Pakistanis.
Mr Hussain asked the local office-bearers of the MQM to form committees and distribute work in order to make preparation for the programme on 18th March. He asked them to spread the MQM’s message in the adjoining villages and towns by knocking at every door.
