Masjid Al Dirar was erected to harm Muslims and for this reason Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) ordered its demolition on the command of Allah
Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) in his statement declaredthe threatening video message released by Maulana Abdul Aziz, Khateeb(person who delivers sermons) of Lal Masjid (Red Mosque) on 20th December 2014astotally false, shameless and condemnable. Mr Altaf Hussain said that on 19th December 2014 during a public rally organised by MQM at the Tibet Centre, Karachi in solidarity with families of the innocent students and teachers massacred at the Army Public School in Peshawar. He had quoted and narrated why Chapter 69 of Al Munfiqun was descended in the Holy Quran, its historical background and its translation and interpretation and also narrated the account of the Masjid al-Dirar, mosque of hypocrites. This mosque was erected to harm Islam and Muslims, it was therefore, on the command of Allah, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) ordered his companions to demolish it.
Mr Altaf Hussain said that he had demanded of the government to demolish the Lal Masjid and closing of Jame-a- Hafsa (Hafsa University) on the same pretext as Masjid al-Dirar because in this mosque, the preaching and act of harming Islam and Muslimswas underway under the rubrics of Islam. The un-Islamic acts, teachings and preaching were being carried outand are still continuing in this mosque, even today. Maulana Abdul Aziz had released a video message in response to my demand on Saturday evening that is not only threatening but deceptive and a pack of lies and the derogatory language he has used is totally inappropriate, shameless and condemnable.He said that every instruction was issued on the command of Allah and the prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had ordered his companions to demolish the mosque on the command of Allah. He further said that if any mosque erected in the name of Islam and is used to harm the Islam and Muslims then would it not be compared with Masjid al-Dirar then what name would it be given? He said that he was once again, reverting to the Holy Quran to narrate the account of Masjid al-Dirar; in Sipara (division) number 11, Yatazrun in surah no.9 (Al-Tawab) .i.e;verses nos. 107 to 110 (Arabic transcript is enclosed herewith), in these Allah, the beneficent states: “ And, certain people who have erected mosque with the objective to harm the Islam and engage in heretical gossips and divide the believers and facilitate those persons who opposed Allah and his prophet and they would swear that their intension is nothing except betterment. However, Allah testifies that indeed, they are liars. O prophet!Do not stand there but instead in Masid-e-Quba foundation of which was erected on piety from the very first day, you are better suited to stand there, in that there people who believe in cleanliness and indeed Allah likes those who are clean> Is the person who has erected the foundation of his building due to fear of Allah, his will and pleasure or the one who erects on the banks of a ditch and along with it, he falls in the fire of hell. Allah does not guide the tyrant. The building they created will always prick their conscience and their heart will decimate. Allah is of all wisdom and knower.
Mr Altaf Hussain asked all religious scholars, anchor persons, intellectuals, authors and writers and the people to analyse the teachings, preaching and role played at the Lal Masjid and Jam-e-Hafsa in the light of these Qur’anic verses and then decide as per their conscience whether the teachings and preaching at Lal Masjid and Jame-a-Hafsa was in accordance with true teachings and preaching of Islam or not? He said that who does not know that Kalashnikov and baton laden male and female students of Lal Masjid and Jame-a-Hafsa held Islamabad hostage for several days, captured children library on the yoke of their guns, attacked women car drivers, attacked the people without beard, barber and video and audio cassettes shops with guns and batons. Hurling baseless accusations, kidnapped men and women physiotherapists, took them into their Madrasah and brutally and inhumanly tortured them. Maulana Abdul Aziz having trained the male and female students in Kalashnikov made these students attack police pickets, wounded and martyred several policemen and personnel of the armed forces. It is also on record that during his sermons, Maulana Abdul Aziz indoctrinated students into becoming suicide bombers and fully supported the terrorist organisations like Taliban and Al-Qaeda. He has been advocating the cause of the terrorist organisations like Taliban, Al-Qaeda and Daesh (ISIS) and doing it even to this day.
Mr Altaf Hussain further added that after the initiation of the activities of Daesh (ISIS) after Taliban and Al-Qaeda, the female students of Jame-a-Hafsa have released a fresh video on internet in Arabic language English translation of which is enclosed herewith. In this video, they have proclaimed the head of ISIS Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi as a caliph and vowed to establish Islamic caliphate in Pakistan and to avenge the death of Osama bin Laden. Mr Altaf Hussain asked reiterating his earlier remarks all the Islamic scholars, historians, analysts, political and religious parties, journalists, teachers and anchor persons to tell him according to their conscience to what extent he is right or wrong.
