Altaf Hussain calls Asghar Abbas’s family

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain termed the killing of Vice-President MQM Chiniot District a great loss and said that MQM was deprived of a senior, honest and determined worker.
Talking to his elder brother Ahmed Abbas Jafri on the telephone from London, MQM Chief expressed his heartfelt condolence to him and said that all MQM workers along with him equally shared pain with the bereaved family. He said that the terrorists brutally killed one of his most senior party workers.
Mr. Hussain said that the banned-outfits Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba were involved in the killing of Asghar Abbas. He said that the present PML-N government not only politically but also financially supported those organizations, who allegedly involved in killings of Shias.
He offered his deep condolence to the other members of the family and told them to show patience over the loss. He said that the murderers of Asghar Abbas would not be spared of Allah’s curse and soon be punished hard in both the worlds.
Meanwhile, the family members said it was appreciable that the MQM office-bearers and workers thoroughly supported them, since the murder of Asghar Abbas. They said MQM’s ultimate support and cooperation enabled them to bear the shock. They also reiterated that the struggle for the rights of people would continue even after the martyrdom of Syed Asghar Abbas Jafri.
