Senior Vice-President MQM Chiniot District Syed Asghar Abbas Jafri, who was shot dead by the terrorists on Wednesday, was buried at local graveyard, and his requiem mass was attended by member Coordination committee Gulfaraz Khan Khattak, MQM Punjab’s President Mian Atiq, his relatives, MQM workers and sympathizers.
Talking to media persons after his burial, Mian Atiq said that all MQM workers were in pain and those who thought that they could impede spreading MQM message in Punjab, were merely daydreaming and nothing more than that.
MQM leader said MQM’s Workers were like progeny for Mr. Altaf Hussain. He said that the terrorists had killed several of MQM Punjab office-bearers, including MQM MNA Tahira Asif and Vice-President MQM District Sialkot Bao Muhammad Anwar. He said that such barbarity could not discourage their determination to keep following the righteous path.
Forty-eight years old MQM Chiniot’s vice-President Syed Asghar Abbas Jafri was a father of five daughters and a journalist by profession. On his tragic death everyone was engulfed with sorrows. Earlier MQM chief condemned the killing and asked his party workers to attend his funeral.
