A day of mourning on Wednesday was thoroughly observed by Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) against the tragic incident of Army Public School, where more than one hundred and thirty students and teachers were killed in a terrorists attack.
In this regard, the main procession was held at Lal Qila ground near Nine-Zero and was attended by In-charge MQM Coordination Committee Pakistan Qamar Mansoor, members Dr Nusrat Shaukat, Kahf-ul-Wara, Aslam Afridi, Arif Khan Advocate, Ghazi Salahuddin, Senators, MNAs, MPAs, religious scholars of various school of thought, office-bearers, workers and supporters.
Later, the gathering offered funeral prayers of the victims of school’s massacre in absentia. There were a program of recitation of the holy Quran and prayed the high eternal rank for the martyrs and also prayed for the early recovery of the injured. Allama Dr Jamil Rathor said the prayers with humility and submission in the procession.
Meanwhile, such gatherings were also held at MQM offices in Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The participants of the gathering around the country passionately prayed for the victims of Army Public School tragic incident.
