Acting In-charge MQM Coordination Committee Pakistan, Qamar Mansoor demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to immediately arrest the murderers of MQM senior worker and Vice-President District Sialkot Bao Muhammad Anwar.
Addressing to a protest rally against the killing of Bao Muhammad Anwar at Karachi Press Club, Qamar Mansoor said that nobody should ever think that MQM would be quiet on its workers’ brutal killings. He said to the participants that the conspirators of MQM minus Altaf Hussain were defeated by their unity and faith on its Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain.
The Acting In-charge condemned the attempt to portray the murder of MQM MNA Tahira Asif in a targeted-killing in Lahore as robbery case. He said that MQM workers were being arbitrarily arrested by Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and murdered in extra-judicial killings after brutal torture but none of the political party condemned those killings.
He said that his forefathers sacrificed two million lives to attain their goal to form a country. He said that they could sacrifice their lives but would not bow down in front of any discriminating force. He said that the dwellers of Karachi supported only Altaf Hussain and MQM, and the divide and rule policy would not work anymore in Karachi.
Associate MQM Coordination Committee Pakistan Aslam Afridi said that the ideology of APMSO spread all over the country after being expelled out from Karachi University. He said that Mr. Hussain’s theory could not be suppressed through violations and exploitations. He said that the terrorists killed Bao Muhammad Anwar and for that God will definitely retaliate with them.
Associate MQM Coordination Committee Pakistan Ghazi Salahuddin said that the protest demonstration showed that whenever, the followers of Mr. Hussain wanted to close down the country, they could. He said that when the flood of people spread, the Raiwind and Saray Palace would be drowned. He said that his brother was killed just because of his affiliation with Mr. Altaf Hussain but none of the political leader or government official condemned the killing.
Meanwhile, the participants also performed the funeral prayers in absentia of Bao Muhammad Anwar in front of Karachi Press Club. While, the funeral prayers of absentia were also performed in the other parts of the country, including interior Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
