Genocide of the Hazara community is an evil conspiracy against Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

Genocide of the Hazara community is an evil conspiracy against Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

MQM would continue to raise its against the persecution of the Hazara community
The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the genocide of the Hazara community is an evil conspiracy against Pakistan. More than 80 innocent people were killed in a suicide attack on the Alamdar Road nearly a month ago. Protest demonstration was held for four days and people, including the elderly, women and children, held a sit-in with the dead bodies of their loved in cold weather and rain in Quetta. Despite all the assurances given by the government, the savage elements responsible for the gruesome tragedy could not be arrested.
Mr Hussain said that once again more than 89 people, including the elderly, women and children, have been killed in Quetta in a horrific manner. The families of the people killed are protesting with the dead bodies of their loved-ones and demanding the arrest of the killers. Demonstrations are being held across Pakistan to express solidarity with the protesting families.
Mr Hussain said it was unfortunate that the legitimate demands of the affected people were not being given the proper attention and apparently not much was being done to bring the killers to justice. The fact that the elements responsible for two horrific tragedies were still roaming freely had placed a big question mark on the performance of the people at the helm of affairs.
Mr Hussain said that the elements involved in the genocide of the Hazara community were open enemies of Pakistan. He demanded that the terrorists and their sponsors which were behind the organized killings of the Hazara Shia community should be arrested and given exemplary punishment.
Mr Hussain extended sympathies to the mourning families in Quetta and said that the MQM would continue to raise its voice against their persecution.
