TYRANTS OF THE THRONE OF LAHORE HAVE SHOWN THEY BELIEVE IN DESPOTISM AND NOT DEMOCRACY: ALTAF HUSSAIN

 Posted on: 1/4/2012 1

MULTAN: 4TH JANUARY 2012:
Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has said that the kings of the throne of Lahore were once again talking about setting up military courts in Karachi clearly demonstrating their belief in despotism instead of democracy. He said that the MQM is striving to liberate the people from the tyranny of the throne of Lahore, and it will not rest until the people are free from their dictatorship. He said this while talking to the members of the zonal committee of MQM Multan Zone.

Mr Hussain said that every dictator of the time had set up military courts in order to subjugate the people, but the time had proved that the tyrants had ultimately met an ignoble end. He said that the tyrants of the throne of Lahore were being rejected by the people. They had established the military courts in Karachi in the past as well, and their hands were stained with the bloods of innocent people.

Mr Hussain congratulated the Seraiki people, students, poets, journalists, and religious scholars of different schools of thought on the acceptance of the MQM resolution for the creation of new provinces for a debate in the National Assembly. He said that the MQM had fulfilled the promise it had made to the people. He hoped that not only the resolution would pass, but the parliament would also pass the act for the creation of the Seraiki province.

Mr Hussain said that the Seraiki people should recognize the tyrants who were opposing the creation of the Seraiki province as they had always kept the Seraiki people under subjugation. They live in big palaces and pretend to talk about the rights of the poor people.

Mr Hussain said that the MQM was emerging as a truly representative party of the people across the length and breadth of the country. He congratulated the workers and officials of the Multan zone and commended them for remaining steadfast despite the hardships and problems.
