MQM condemns the killing of senior lawyer MM Tariq Advocate

The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has strongly condemned the killing of senior lawyer MM Tariq Advocate and termed it an attempt to undermine peace of the city. It said that innocent citizens and people belonging to political and religious parties were being targeted and gunned down in order to destabilize the country. It extended sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the departed soul. It appealed to President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take serious notice of the killing of the senior lawyer in Karachi and bring the perpetrators to book.
