The services of the legal community for the rule of law and promotion of democracy are highly commendable: MQM
A delegation of the Sindh High Court Bar Association and Karachi Bar Association visited Khursheed Begum Secretariat on Wednesday and met members of the Co-ordination Committee of the MQM Shahid Latif and Gulfaraz Khan Khattak. The delegation included SHCBA president Mustafa Lakhani, General Secretary Asghar Farooqi, newly-elected president of KBA Naeem Qureshi, vice-president Chaudhry Saeeduz Zaman and other members. The delegation thanked Mr Altaf Hussain and the MQM for extending support in the elections for SHCBA and KBA.
Members of the Co-ordination Committee welcomed the delegation. They praised the services rendered by the legal community for making selfless efforts for the rule of law and promotion of democracy in the country. They assured their full co-operation in solving the problems of the legal community.
The delegation said that the efforts being made by Mr Hussain for political and social awakening in the public should serve as an example for other political parties. They said that the legal community supports the positive efforts being made by the MQM for promoting religious and sectarian harmony and progress of the country.
