A delegation of the International Centre for Journalists USA visited the MQM Headquarters Nine Zero in Azizabad and met Deputy Convener of the Co-ordination Committee Dr Farooq Sattar and member of the committee Wasay Jalil. The delegation was apprised about the legal, constitutional and democratic struggle of the MQM.
Dr Sattar informed the delegation about the political history of the MQM and its position on extremism, terrorism, upcoming elections and the internal situation of the country. He also explained about the MQM’s stance on various foreign policy issues and the law and order situation in the country. The overall political, social and economic situations of the country were also discussed in the meeting.
Members of the delegation visited various sections of the Information Department of the MQM and showed keen interest in its workings.

The delegation was being led by Babar Taimoor, Program Manager, International Center for Journalists, Washington, D.C.
Provincial Minister Syed Sardar Ahmed, Faisal Sabzwari and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Sindh Haider Abbas Rizvi were also present on the occasion.
