Terrorists of banned outfits are involved in the killings of elected representatives and workers of the MQM: Co-ordination Committee

Terrorists of banned outfits are involved in the killings of elected representatives and workers of the MQM: Co-ordination Committee

Political parties should forget differences and get united to crush the hydra of terrorism
The Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has said that the terrorists of the banned extremist outfits are involved in the killings of elected representatives, office-bearers, and workers of the MQM. It has appealed to leaders of all political parties to forget their differences in order to crush the hydra of terrorism that was being nurtured in the garb of religion. The committee appealed to formulate a unanimous line of action to fight terrorism and protecting the life and property of common citizens.
The Co-ordination Committee said that one of the terrorists who had gunned down two MQM workers of Unit 142 of the New Karachi Sector was caught by the people and handed over to the police. Another involved in the incident managed to escape. During the investigation, the terrorist who was caught revealed that he was affiliated with a banned outfit, and that he was given the task to kill active workers of the MQM.
The Co-ordination Committee said it has now become evident that banned terrorist outfits are involved in the brutal killings of the elected representatives, office-bearers and workers of the MQM. It said that the government should take serious notice of the killing of MPA Manzar Imam, his driver, security guards and two other workers of the MQM within a short period of three days.
The Co-ordination Committee said that people across the board were being hit by the terrorism of the banned outfits that were now using hardened criminals to achieve their nefarious designs. It said that the raging fire of hatred and terrorism would burn everything to ashes if effective and forceful action was not taken against the perpetrators.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the MQM is working to establish a society where people belonging to all religions, sects and beliefs could live peacefully. The MQM had laid down the lives of its 17000 workers during its struggle, but it did not bow down before any oppressive force.
The Co-ordination Committee said that the determination of the MQM workers cannot be shaken by acts of terrorism. The struggle of the MQM would continue unstoppably howsoever the circumstances may be.
The Co-ordination Committee appealed to the people to form neighbourhood watch committees and remain vigilant.
