The killing of Manzar Imam has shown that the militants are against democracy
MQM Senators have strongly condemned the brutal killing of MPA Manzar Imam along with his driver and two security guards. In a joint statement, the senators warned that the elements wanting to force their way of life and thinking on others by resorting to terrorism, violence and bomb blasts were open enemies of the country. They said that the absence of a united effort against terrorism by political and religious parties was highly regrettable and equal to leaving the nation and the country at the mercy of terrorist elements.
The senators said that the killing of MPA Manzar Imam has shown that the militants were working against democracy. They sympathized with the grieving family members and prayed Allah to shower His blessings on the departed souls.
The MQM senators demanded President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to bring the brutal killers of Manzar Imam to justice.
